"My experience with the WELL Program, led by Doc, has been a pivotal chapter in my life. As a walking paraplegic, I faced numerous challenges in transitioning from military to civilian life. However, the support and guidance I received from Doc through the WELL Program have been instrumental in my journey to recovery and academic success.

Under Doc's mentorship in the WELL Program, I not only regained physical strength and mobility through personalized Strength and Conditioning sessions but also gained invaluable knowledge in nutrition and mental health. These lessons went beyond just recovery; they ignited a passion in me for exercise science and human performance.

I am thrilled to share that, with the foundation built in the WELL Program, I have been accepted into Pennsylvania Western University's Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Human Performance program, supported by the VR&E program. This achievement is a testament to the confidence and skills I gained under Doc's guidance.

My journey in academia has been marked by several milestones, including my membership in the National Honor Society, an upcoming publication in Sports Speed Digest, and earning a spot on the Dean's List in my first semester. These accomplishments are not just personal triumphs; they reflect the high standards and commitment to excellence that Doc instilled in me through the WELL Program.

I am deeply grateful to Doc and the WELL Program for playing such a crucial role in my rehabilitation and academic pursuits. This journey has been more than just overcoming physical challenges; it has been about discovering my potential and pursuing my passion for enhancing athletic performance.
Thank you, Doc, for your unwavering support, expertise, and belief in my abilities. Your mentorship has been a key driver in my achievements and my ongoing quest for knowledge and impact in the field of exercise science."
